I fell in love with Sophia the first time that I saw her picture
on the Devonshire web site. I then purchased a son, Serrated who
is producing everything I had hoped for. When Beth offered to
let Sophia come here to live, I think all that I could say was
WOOOOOHOOOOO! Let me assure you Sophia is even prettier in
person than in the pictures even after her long trip from
Florida to Idaho. Sophia is extremely long bodied and level,
very smoothly blended and has very nice feet and legs. She has a
tremendous area of udder attachment with beautiful teat size and
placement. Because of an injury Sophia will never again be
shown, but will be a tremendous asset as a brood doe. Sophia has
to her credit 1xJCH, 1xBJDIS, 2xGCH, 2xBOB, 1xBDIS, and 4th
placed 2yr old with 3rd udder at the 03' Nationals. Sophia is
co-owned with Linda Shuls of Timber*Cove lamancha's be on the
lookout for wonderful new Sophia offspring in the Timber*Cove
herd as well.

Sidney joined us from
the Tempo herd this year as a brood doe. She has had some
mastitis problems in the past that ended her show career but it
sure doesn't make her any less attractive to us. She is a
beautiful doe and has one of the sweetest personalities you
could ever ask for. She is long and tall and very uphill. She
has a beautiful top line and rump, and excels in dairyness and
angularity. In 05' Sidney was 7th place 3yr at the Nationals and
made the Top ten list for milk production! After that Sydney
struggled with a severe case of mastitis after that left her one
sided. Thank you Laurie
Acton for breeding such an exceptional doe and for allowing us
